Urban cooks offer culinary workshops for 6-8 year olds (parents-children), 9-12 year olds and adults where healthy eating is on the menu. During 10 workshops, from the starter to the dessert and through the snacks, the participants learn how to cook recipes where flavors and smells are in the spotlight! And they all leave with a recipe book easy to remake at home!

The valorisation of dregs is part of our desire to be an eco-responsible company and we have discovered a way of offering a second utility to our waste, the dregs, by transforming them into food products. In collaboration with our two partners, L’Amour du pain and Oatbox, we have created a bread and granola that are balanced, nutritious and local.
La joyeuse Carotte is a food processing project aimed at fighting poverty and social exclusion in the MRC Nicolet-Yamaska territory by setting up workplaces for food processing (social integration and employment) and by the distribution of processed foodstuffs to food security organizations (poverty alleviation).
Children are invited to send their favorite original recipes for breakfast, lunch, snack and / or dinner. Family recipes and those from around the world are encouraged. When children and parents prepare meals together, children gain knowledge, develop cooking skills and learn more about their family culinary heritage. This leads them to make better choices and improve their eating habits.
More than a gourmet festival, La Grande Gourmandise has a mission: to enhance and celebrate the gastronomic culture of Quebec. La Grande Gourmandise also wants to give Québec’s youth the opportunity to understand the practical applications of pedagogy through cooking, and thus contribute to perseverance in school.

Caroline Roy, founder and president of Cuisine L’Angélique bakery, is on a mission to share her knowledge and expertise (through workshops, courses and demonstrations) to give everyone the chance to cook tasty, healthy food while respecting certain dietary restrictions such as gluten and lactose intolerance.
