THE JURY

The jury is made up of some 30 personalities who hold various expertise in the health promotion and agribusiness sectors (a jury composed of a minimum of 8 people per category). The chairman of each jury has the right to seek the opinion of experts to clarify or specify technical concepts essential and critical for the proper understanding of the project presented to the jury.



Communication

André Fortin

Senior Advisor, External Relations Éco Entreprises Québec

Consulting in a communications and public relations agency, where he directed campaigns and major programs for a clientele from the fields of health, nutrition and nutrition.

He is responsible for partnerships with stakeholders and plays a central role in the deployment of outreach and public affairs strategies at Eco Entreprises Québec, a private non-profit organization that works at the heart of the financing and optimization of curbside recycling in Quebec. He has a degree in communications and public relations from York University in Toronto.


Annie Langlois

Associate, Senior Vice President Massy Forget Langlois Public Relations

She has previously held a position of Director at NATIONAL, Head of the NutriCom Division, Senior Consultant for corporate affairs at METRO Inc. then was director of communications at the Professional Order of Dietitians of Quebec.

Professional in public relations and marketing communication with over 20 years of experience, Annie is recognized for her expertise in the communications sector in nutrition, health and agri-food. She has a bachelor’s degree in dietetics, a certificate and a public relations diploma, and has been a member of the Professional Order of Dietitians of Quebec since 1992.


Émilie Villeneuve

Editor at Éditions Cardinal

Emilie Villeneuve lived from her pen for fifteen years. We read her in La Presse + and the magazines Clin d’oeil, Chatelaine, Elle Quebec and Vero. For the past four years, she has been editor-in-chief of La Presse’s M magazine.

She has collaborated on several issues of the guide resto Voir as a food critic and worked on the editorial team of the cultural weekly of the same name. She is the author of the comic book La Fille invisible et des livres Moutarde Chou, St-Tite : une histoire tirée par les chevaux, Chefs de famille (with Clemence Risler) and Petites histoires drummondvilloises.


Marie-Paule Leblanc

Planning, Programming and Research Officer Adult / Senior Program – AGENCE DE LA SANTÉ ET DES SERVICES SOCIAUX DE LA MONTÉRÉGIE

Since 1987, she has helped promote food policies in schools and evaluated the effects of implementing a program aimed at changing the food supply in the workplace. She has collaborated on several provincial committees, notably on school food policies and the Provincial Working Group on Weight Issues (GTPPP) of the Association for Public Health in Quebec from 2000 to 2006 .

A public health nutritionist for more than 20 years, Marie-Paule Leblanc has developed her expertise in promoting environments conducive to healthy eating. She is currently working to foster partnerships between public health and agri-food stakeholders.


Isabelle Marquis

Director of marketing, mass distribution and H.R.I. Première Moisson Manager
With an honors degree in nutrition from the University of Montreal and 17 years of experience in food marketing and communication, Ms. Marquis has an exceptional multidisciplinary experience acquired both as a consulting agency and a food processing company A seasoned manager and strategist, she has successfully piloted several large-scale projects with companies of all sizes and sectors. Most recently, as Director of Marketing, large distribution and HRI within Première Moisson Group Inc., she managed several innovation and product development projects, as well as actively contributing to business development in the American market Currently working on her own, Ms. Marquis assists Quebec and Canadian biofood sector players in the deployment of marketing ideas and projects within their various external and internal targets.

Pierre Balloffet

Professor, HEC Montreal

Pierre Ballofet is a professor at HEC Montréal in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. His interests relate mainly to the field of brand management, innovative practices of sustainable development as well as new training approaches. Signer of articles published in the best journals, author of award-winning reference books, he has also presented numerous papers at international conferences, always maintaining the same concern for quality and impact. A recognized and passionate communicator, he promotes the search for original, relevant and responsible perspectives in his writing, consulting, outreach and teaching activities.

As a privileged contributor, he works closely with the team at MosaiC and the Pôle Médias on issues related to new business and communication models. Since 2001, he has been responsible for the D.E.S.S. in marketing communication, in partnership with the Association of Advertising Agencies of Quebec (AAPQ).


Dan Nielsen

President and Managing Partner of Attitude Marketing

Dan Nielsen is the President and Managing Partner of Attitude Marketing, a growing, dynamic agency of 20+ strategic / creative minds. Dan is head of strategy and planning for a broad spectrum of clients with a specific focus on the Attitude incubator – providing much-needed marketing support and mentorship to select start-ups at the time they need it most – when they launch!
