Facilitating product:A product whose main feature resides in its practicality, thereby facilitating access to healthy eating for Canadians.
Value added product: A product with improved nutritional properties compared to the products available for this market segment.
Boiling product/menu:A facilitating product or with added valued, or an added value menu, which will be launched in 2020.
Producer:A producer, whether of an animal or vegetable production, that improves the food offer by using technologies or new practices on his farm.
Restaurant: A restaurant which menu allows to improve the food offer and/or follows practices that answers to the five dimensions of healthy eating.
Ingredient or Technology: An ingredient or a technology that allows to improve the food offer.
Book or magazine (digital or print): Publication promoting healthy eating habits.
Website or mobile application: Tool promoting healthy eating habits or giving an easy access to an improved food offer.
Advertising campaign: Communication, marketing or public relations campaign promoting healthy eating habits.
Television or radio show (web series or podcast): Broadcast promoting healthy eating habits.
Food Company: Any project launched by a company whose main activity is food, which contributes to improving the food offer or promoting healthy eating habits.
Non-Food Company: Any project launched by a company whose main activity is not food, which contributes to improving the food offer or promoting healthy eating habits.
A company with more than two years of existence, which has been a pioneer in its sector of activity, has demonstrated a ripple effect in its category, and has managed to improve the food offer or the consumer eating habits significantly.
